Family: I have an amazing supportive family.  I married my best friend Brad last August and we live here in Bolivar with our dog Duke.  My parents currently live in Marshfield, MO and I have two younger sisters Andrea and Angela. 

Why did you choose to work for SBU? Being a graduate of SBU I wanted to share my amazing experience with prospective students.  SBU has the best work environment you could ask for with Godly leadership and co-workers.  I love meeting new families and introducing them to the warm and welcoming campus here at SBU.

Favorite thing to do in Bolivar: I love the little things that Bolivar has to offer, the cute boutiques on the square, great restaurants, and the farmers market.  I’ve lived in Bolivar for six years now and I continue to find new and exciting things that Bolivar has to offer.

Favorite college memory: I have a ton but my favorite would be meeting my husband at a football game.  He immediately caught my attention and hasn’t lost it yet!

Hobbies: Working on my house, reading, photography, traveling, and cooking.

Tips for success in first year at SBU:  Get involved!!  There are so many amazing opportunities and people on campus.  Being active in campus life will help you adjust quickly to college and also allows you to build relationships.

Favorite professional sports team: Well, I’m not a huge professional sports fan but I love watching the St. Louis Cardinals.

What SBU means to me: It means home.  It’s the place where I was able to grow so much spiritually and truly make my faith my own.  I learned how to step out of my comfort zone and God has used that to develop me continually. 

What's on my iPod/music currently listening to: I like a variety of music but more recently I’ve really enjoyed the Fray’s new release and I’m always up for some Coldplay.

Favorite book/book currently reading: Anything by Ted Dekker.  My husband and I are obsessed.  I’m currently reading Skin by Ted Dekker.
