Southwest Baptist University

Hillary Glauser-Patton

“I enjoy interacting with students both inside and outside the classroom. Certainly what happens in the classroom is a two-way street — teaching is more than telling, and learning is more than listening — so significant dialogue should occur in between. Outside of class, I enjoy working with students on projects in the lab, attending various department gatherings and each semester I have students over to my house for the tradition of ‘Biochemistry for Breakfast.’”

Come to Campus

The best way to really experience what our University has to offer is to make a personal visit. See first-hand how rewarding it is to study with top-rated professors who are experts in their fields and to live within a campus community of evangelical Christian scholars. You will get to meet SBU students who we think are among the best students in the world.

We invite you to participate in a scheduled Campus Visit Day with other prospective students or schedule an individual visit. You’ll get a personalized tour, meet with an admissions counselor, meet distinguished professors in your field, attend Chapel, stay overnight if you like and dine in the cafeteria with current students. The sooner you visit, the sooner you will understand the SBU difference and why you need to be here.
