SPRINGFIELD, MO - Carole Eldridge, DNP, RN, NEA-BC has been named dean of St. John’s College of Nursing (SJCON) and Health Sciences Southwest Baptist University. Dr. Eldridge comes to the dean’s position from University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, where she served as director and associate professor of UTMB’s online Nursing Leadership Master’s program.  Eldridge brings to SJCON her extensive experience in technology and business within the healthcare industry. 

SPRINGFIELD, MO - St. John's College of Nursing of Southwest Baptist University Pinning Ceremony will be held Thursday, May 15, at 7:00 at Second Baptist Church in Springfield. One hundred and two graduates will be pinned. 

St. John's College of Nursing third semester pediatric students volunteered recently at the 2008 Teddy Bear Rally at Dickerson Park Zoo. The Rally was held April 26. Students worked at the Bear Care Clinic where children brought their favorite stuffed animals that needed a little loving care.

SPRINGFIELD, MO –  The Missouri State Board of Nursing will hold a Survey of St. John’s College of Nursing of Southwest Baptist University, Friday, May 9th, 2008, at 4:00 p.m.  The public is invited to the session.
