Bolivar Campus Update November 2, 2009
According to SBU's Director of Health Services, Nancy Hodges, "During the week of October 25-31, 2009 there were nine students seen with fever over 100 and exhibiting flu symptoms. Only one student tested positive for Influenza A. BOLIVAR, MO – The public is invited to attend a free concert featuring the Southwest Baptist University Chamber Orchestra at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 12. The concert will be presented in Meyer Recital Hall in the Geneva Casebolt Music Center on the Bolivar campus. Dr. Brian K. Hopwood, director of instrumental studies and assistant professor of music will conduct.
BOLIVAR, MO – The Chorale of Southwest Baptist University will present its Fall Concert at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 10, in Pike Auditorium located in Mabee Chapel on the main campus in Bolivar. Admission is free and a reception for the audience will be held backstage following the performance.

BOLIVAR, MO –The Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) chapter at Southwest Baptist University and the Polk County Health Center will host a new “green” initiative project, “Give Thanks and Give Back” from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, at the Bolivar High School Gym.
