SPRINGFIELD, MO ─ In honor of Nurses Week, May 5-12, St. John's College of Nursing and Health Sciences will host an informal celebration and reception, Monday, May11, 8:30-10:30 a.m. in the student center at the college of nursing in Springfield, for students, staff, and faculty.
Dr. Carole Eldridge, college of nursing dean, says “I am heartfelt in my feelings of gratitude and respect for each of the wonderful nurses on our extensive faculty.”
According to Eldridge, St. John's College of Nursing and Health Sciences leads the state of Missouri in the number of pre-licensure graduates each year and has consistently exceeded the state average first-time NCLEX pass rate.
The college's RN-to-BSN program is the largest in the area, and has a reputation for excellence.
“The combination of quality and quantity we have is rare and amazing, and is only achieved because of the exceptional dedication, expertise, and hard work of our faculty and staff and the commitment of our nursing students” says Eldridge.
