SBU Bearcats moved up to #2 in Nation

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The SBU Bearcats moved up to #2 in the latest NABC/Division II Top 25 poll. It matches their highest ranking in program history, which last occurred in February 1991.

SBU Forensics Team Takes First at Cameron University

BOLIVAR, MO -- The Southwest Baptist University speech and debate team competed in the annual Cameron University Forensics Tournament on December 5-6.  Twenty-three colleges and universities participated in the two days of competition that included eleven individual speaking-interpretation events and three divisions of debate.

SBU to Benefit from a UPS Foundation Grant

BOLIVAR, Mo. -- Southwest Baptist University will benefit from a grant to the Missouri Colleges Fund (MCF). A $ 46,400 grant from The UPS Foundation will underwrite student scholarships at each of the 16 MCF member schools. These scholarships will be awarded by the member schools on the basis of financial need.
