BOLIVAR, MO – Steve Whisler, Southwest Baptist University’s director of estate planning and church relations, was the facilitator in a break-out session for educational institutions on the topic of current trends in fundraising during the 21st annual conference of the Missouri Baptist Development Council (MBDC) of which Whisler is a charter member.
The Council consists of all Baptist benevolence and educational institutions within the state. The conference was held in Columbia, Missouri at the Stoney Creek Inn on September 23, 2009. Whisler also chaired the nominations committee and presented the slate of officers for the coming year for the Council during the business session of the conference.
Holly Stockard, SBU's director of annual fund, is the newly-elected secretary for the MBDC.
