BOLIVAR, Mo. -- Southwest Baptist University will benefit from a recent grant to the Missouri Colleges Fund (MCF). A $24,000 grant from the Wachovia Foundation will underwrite student scholarships at each of the 16 MCF member schools including SBU. The Wachovia Scholars Program grant will provide a $1,500 scholarship, one per member school, designated to 16 exceptional business students who also excel because of their activities and/or special achievements at a private/independent college or university.

The MCF was formed in 1952 as a non-profit corporation. The MCF Mission is to acquire resources to help educate students in its 16 member private liberal-arts colleges and universities.
