SBU Marketing Department Receives National Advertising Award

BOLIVAR, MO – Southwest Baptist University’s marketing and communications department recently received a national admissions advertising award. Justin Wollard ’97, assistant to the director for athletic media relations (and former graphic designer) and Sharina Smith, senior director of marketing and communications, received a merit award in the 24th Annual Admissions Advertising Awards competition for the brochure, “Impact the World – Success Stories.”

 

 

Smith said, “The success stories featured in the brochure demonstrate how SBU has had an impact on graduates’ lives, and through the brochure these alumni are able to share how they are making an impact on the world. As for the award, Justin is a first-rate designer who spent many hours crafting this brochure with me. I am delighted our work was recognized in this way.”

 

The award was sponsored by Admissions Marketing Report. The Admissions Advertising Awards is the largest educational advertising awards competition in the country. This year, over two thousand entries were received from more than one-thousand colleges, universities and secondary schools from all fifty states and several foreign countries.
