BOLIVAR, MO –Southwest Baptist University’s Department of Mathematics recently hosted the 11th Annual Math Contests on Jan. 23 and Feb. 27. On Jan. 23, approximately 376 students from more than 20 Missouri schools arrived on SBU’s Bolivar campus to compete in the math contest. On Feb. 27, approximately 280 students from 24 Missouri schools competed.

Dr. Hopkins said, “This is the 11th year we have hosted some type of contest, and over the years we've hosted 42 contests involving 6354 students (many students have come multiple times).
