BOLIVAR, MO – Southwest Baptist University announced that Dr. Becky Schoeneberg, a recent D.P.T. graduate, received the 2008 Minority Scholarship Award for Academic Excellence from the American Physical Therapy Association.

Dr. Schoeneberg received $6,000 from the Minority Scholarship Fund and also will receive a certificate in commemoration of the award. Her dissertation was titled, “Effect of Frequency of Self Static Stretching on Hamstring Length in Healthy Adults.”

Dr. Schoeneberg’s award was presented at the Honors and Awards Celebration at Physical Therapy 2008, APTA’s Annual Conference & Exposition in San Antonio, Texas.
