Following the completion of the degree, students may choose to continue to achieve certification as a school administrator. Certification is not an additional master’s degree. For Southwest Baptist University to recommend a student for certification in school administration they must hold a valid MS degree and complete additional course work. The student must also successfully complete the School Leaders Licensure Assessment (SLLA) to obtain his/her license as a school administrator. The following courses are required for recommendation for certification for students holding the MS in Education-Lead Teacher Emphasis from Southwest Baptist University.
