Discipleship

In the area of discipleship, there are two major ways to be involved. The first is through one-on-one mentoring, and the second is through small groups. In both, we commit to doctrinal integrity, consistent time investment, and continual growth.

Mentoring is one student with a trained staff member or one younger student with an older student. This method is preferred for in-depth personal evaluation, as well as, scriptural instruction. The student and mentor work toward a growing friendship as they examine, through life, the significance of Christ’s work and it’s implications on a believer’s life.

A small group is much of the same, but with 3-6 participants. All of the same goals are intact, but are adapted to the dynamics of a group. Within this setting, there is a great need for vulnerability, spiritual community, and an open mind.
