Today's chapel was the commissioning service for the January '05 mission teams. SBU is known worldwide for its involvement in missions.

Kurt Caddy spoke out of 2 Corinthians 4 (we have this treasure in jars of clay...).
No matter how weak or frail we feel, the power of God leads and ministers to us; and is truly a treasure within us.

Verse 13 says, "I believed; therefore I
have spoken." If we truly believe what Christ has done for us, we should
speak that truth to others, whether it
is in Cambodia, Houston, or our
own neighboroods and homes.

After Kurt spoke, he lead the student body in a time of prayer for the mission trips that will be taking place this January. Please keep these trips/students in your prayers.
