"Missions Chapel" - Wednesday, 14 April

Nate, a student at SBU, opened up chapel leading in song again.

After praise and worship, Roger Peterson took the stage. Roger is the CEO and founder of STEM Int'l in Minneapolis, MN. He gave an amazing testimony and encouraged students to take advantage of the University's short-term missions opportunities.

The January 2005 Mission Trips Opportunities include these:

Houston - partner with a multi-cultural, city ministry reaching a variety of ages and groups through discipleship, special projects, and outreach ministries.

Turkey - minister to Turkish university students in the city of Istanbul through pointed surveys, Chai House, and relational evangelism. Come build relationships with Turks and share your faith.

Senegal - work in rural African villages with the Sereer-Sine people through people group research, personal evangelism, and prayer walking.

Guatemala - SBU will return to Casa Bernabe, an orphange housing over 100 abused and abandoned children. Minister to children and assist the orphanage through various service projects.

Cambodia - share the love of Christ by ministering in rural villages through community development projects, teaching English through Bible studies, and prayer walking Buddhist strongholds.

India - join local pastors in evangelistic crusades and church planting, or aid in makeshift medical clinics in India's impoverished streets.
