Meet the Author Series

General Information
The University
Libraries Meet the Author Series was created to
recognize and promote literature, reading, the art of
writing, and those who write.
At the discretion of the University Libraries and the
Readers Advisory Panel, the Series may also include
composers, artists, dramatists, etc.
By providing opportunities for the university
community and the local community to participate in art and
humanities programming, the Series supports the
University and University Libraries mission, goals, and
values statements.

Scheduling
Series events will ideally be
held twice a year, once in October and once in March.
The Meet the Author Series Committee will establish the dates
based on the events of the school calendar.
Event dates are subject to change at the discretion
of the Committee.
Selection of Presenters
(Authors, musicians, poets, artists, etc.)
A selection process defined in the
Meet the Author Series Policy provides an evaluation procedure that
includes, but is not limited to, the following criteria:
