Why do you like teaching at SBU? "I like teaching at SBU because I can discuss issues from both the secular and Christian perspective. Looking as issues from the Christian worldview allows me to have a more complete picture of the world in which I live."
Courses Taught:
As needed, Walton teaches information literacy sessions in various courses and on an individual basis to students information literacy as they seek information in the University Libraries.
Educational and Professional Background:
Walton earned a bachelors degree in Religion from Dallas Baptist University and a masters degree in Library Science from the University of North Texas. He is currently pursuing a Library & Information Management Ph.D. from Emporia State University.
Faith Dedications: Walton is a member of the Bass Chapel Baptist Church in Strafford, Missouri, where he serves as the treasurer of the church and as a Sunday School teacher.
