4. Finding Periodicals:

  To locate music periodicals in the University Library, use the SWAN online catalog.
    1.  Select the Journal, Magazine, & Newspaper Title Search from the SWAN online catalog menu.
    2.  Enter the periodical title.  An alphabetical list of periodicals available will appear.
    3.  If the University Library has a subscription to that periodical, the periodical will be listed along with the issues available, location and formats of the listed issues - bound, loose, microfiche or microfilm - will be provided.

Scores are located in the Media Services area of the Harriet K. Hutchens Library.  The scores may be searched
in the SWAN online catalog by title or by AUTHOR (use AUTHOR to search by composer name).

Curriculum Lab:

This lab contains a collection of teaching materials that can be used with elementary and secondary music education.  In the area of music, there are textbooks, piano pedagogy and instrumental methods books.  These materials can be found by searching the online catalog.

Christian Education Resource Lab:

The Christian Education Resource Lab contains a collection of teaching materials that can be used with graded choir programs and adult choirs at church.  These materials are published by the Southern Baptist Convention.
