The Fulbright Program makes grants to U.S. citizens and nationals of other countries. These grants are made for a variety of educational activities, primarily university teaching, advanced research, graduate study and teaching in elementary and secondary schools. Grants for foreign nationals are available through the bi-national commission/foundation or U.S. embassy in the country of citizenship. The Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence Program also provides opportunities for U.S. host institutions to sponsor visiting lecturers. For more information on these programs see their website.
