January 10, 2006 - This is the last prayer update you will receive from me during my time in Ecuador.  However, just because my time of ministry in Ecuador is coming to an end, this doesn't mean that your time of prayer for the people here needs to end. 

January 2, 2006 - Happy New Year!  Christmas and the old year passed by here in Ecuador with all kinds of excitement. 

December 19, 2005 - Jim Elliot is a name that many will recognize.  He was a m here in Ecuador with tribal people.  He is famous for many of his books but also for how he died. 

December 12, 2005 - This week has been crazy full of surprises and activities!  To start with, each city in Ecuador has its own Independence Day. In Quito, that day is December 6th

December 1, 2005 - Today was a great day!  I had been slightly discouraged the last few days because all my plans seemed to be falling through.  It is so hard for me when I have planned out what I need to get done, and no one shows up for what was planned. 

November 24, 2005 - I am so thankful for my beautiful Savior; my majestic Maker; my trustworthy Father; my faithful husband (Is.54:5).

November 17, 2005 - Wow.be still my beating heart.I am in love.  The majestic beauty of the Lord just blew me away this past weekend.  From the first morning sunrise across the mountains of trees, I knew I was amidst a beauty that would never be surpassed by man.

October 31, 2005 - Que tal, my team of prayer warriors!  After my last letter sharing some of the huge needs for the deaf in South America, I'd like to share with you some of the great things God has been doing these last few weeks. 

October 23, 2005 - Buenas Tardes!  I just spent the last four days in meetings from 8:30-6pm with all of the Ms who work with deaf in South America.  I am tired and worn out.  I learned a lot from these meetings and from the Ms.

October 13, 2005 - Yesterday was a crazy busy day.  I think Fridays are going to be my most overwhelming days, and yet, they're going to be my most enjoyable. :) I went to the deaf school in South Quito during the day. 

October 3, 2005 - My cup runneth over.I just spent 2 hours discipling Miriam and Christian, my new Christian friends. Wow.I don't have words to express it, but the change in their lives is sooo beautiful. !Que Hermosa!

September 21, 2005 - Howdy to my gringo friends and family!  I've now been in Ecuador a little bit more than two months and time has finally slowed down-these last two weeks seemed to take forever!  

September 12, 2005 - Hello fellow prayer warriors! This past week has been an incredible week of the Lord's majesty! Your prayers have spurred along the work of the gospel here and it is evident!

September 5, 2005 - My last email was very long, my apologies, but I have so much I want you to know about!  I want you to feel like you personally know the people so you will understand how to pray for them.  But, in order to make my emails shorter, I'm going to try and send them out every week instead of every 2 weeks, which I should now be able to do since we're doing our Beth Moore Bible Study once a week at Peggy's house, where I can use the internet.

August 28, 2005 - Hola! The Lord is mighty and powerful and it’s another beautiful day in the Sierras! The sun is so strong on my skin because we’re so high, I can’t take direct sunlight in one spot for very long, but it feels so good for as long as I can take it!

August 17, 2005 - Hi! There's a few important things I left out of my last email that need your immediate prayers. Please pray for Silvia.

August 15, 2005 - Wow! How time has flown by! It seems like way more than two weeks ago since my last email and my first month is up in two days. These last few weeks have had quite a lot of turning events, some good, and a few not so good. I’ll start with the bad to get it out of the way.

July 30, 2005 - Buenas tardes!  I have now been in Ecuador for two weeks.  It’s been fun meeting the people, discovering the culture, learning the language, and becoming part of a new family. 

July 20, 2005 - The flight went well, my luggage arrived, (I even got to share about being a C with a 15 year old girl on the plane trip),

July 1, 2005 - Today is the first of July and I leave in 16 days!
