| Naomi November 19, 2006 - Ahhh! Fall is in the air, football games, leaves crackling, soft snow falling, crisp autumn air….. OH WAIT….it’s about 97 degrees here still. Haha. Happy Thanksgiving all the same. :) November 6, 2006 - Well folks, it’s been another two weeks. It’s hard to believe. Even harder to believe that I only have a month left. October 23, 2006 - I can’t believe it’s been another two weeks already! It’s such a happy/sad feeling that there are only six weeks left. October 9, 2006 - Well, it’s hard to believe it has been another two weeks. We have been spending our time hanging out here in the village and it has been great. September 27, 2006 - Well, I’m writing from a Thai prison…haha. just kidding. I appreciate all the emails inquiring about our safety, and in answer--we are fine! September 9, 2006 - If you’re ever in Penang, Malaysia: August 28, 2006 - I just sent you a mini-update about the medical clinic, so hopefully you got that. Ok, so AFTER the medical clinic and the follow-up meeting Jenn and I headed to Bangkok to meet her family! It was so fun! We got to stay at the Marriott, and it was glorious! August 25, 2006 - Hi everyone!! I know it's been forever, and I still don't have time for an official update. I'm just borrowing the Bowles computer for a second, and I had a lot of "where did you go?" emails. haha. August 14, 2006 - This has been one of the busiest weeks we’ve had, but it’s been really good. As I think I mentioned in my last update, we went to Bangkok with the Bowles. They had to pick up their son Chris who had been in Czech Republic for a month. August 7, 2006 - I have some more exciting news for this update! PA’s mom went to the hospital in Ubon, and we were pr’ing specifically that they would not find cancer. Well, guess what? NO CANCER! She still has liver problems, but it is not cancer! July 31, 2006 - Wow! This has been a crazy couple of weeks. Well, not so much crazy, but a lot has happened. :) The most important and exciting news is obviously Maa’s healing! July 19, 2006 - This is gonna be a short one, but I just wanted to tell you a few things I’ve done this week and make sure you look at new pictures! July 13, 2006 - First of all, I love our house. It’s no 5th Ave. but that’s fine with me. :) I’ll try to describe it for you. The actual house is all on the second floor, except for the bathroom, which is in one corner under the house. July 11, 2006 - It's been quite a busy week, so this is probably going to be a little longer. yay for you! First of all, we told our family that we would make them "furong"(foreigner) food, June 30, 2006 - It’s so hard to believe that it’s only about a week until we move out of our home-stay. Life is “sah-bye” (relaxed, good, happy, well, healthy) in the village. We have just been hanging out more. June 24, 2006 - Hooray for rainy season!! It has rained everyday for that last week, but it’s been very refreshing. It always cools it off a lot, but it’s also really humid. But I’ll take the cooler humidity over the blazing hot yet still humid days anytime. June 15, 2006 - I am doing very well. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR YARPS!! They are working. The language is really really hard, but I am doing pretty good. And I know that it is only because of Dad.
