Controller
The Controller is the chief accounting officer
and is responsible for overseeing the accounting system and financial
reporting.
Responsibilities:

Oversees the processing and accuracy of financial records.

Works with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to prepare financial information for internal and external parties.

Assists in the University-wide budgeting process.
-
Leads/guides the annual University preparations for the external audit, including work paper preparation.
-
Directly supervises the professional accounting staff in jointly evaluating and maintaining an effective accounting system.
-
Monitors cash flow/credit line borrowing to ensure sufficient cash funding is maintained by the University.
-
Monitors federal student aid expenditures and request timely and appropriate funds from the U.S. Department of Education.

Directs the overall functions and services of the accounting department.
Qualifications:
Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

Five years accounting experience
- CPA
- Masters in Accounting or MBA
- Experience in Supervising Others

Operations Director - MBA Program
The Graduate Studies Dept. of the College of Business and Computer Science at Southwest Baptist University is seeking one individual to join our dynamic MBA program as an Operations Director. The Operations Director directs program and all activities related to Graduate Business degree programs.
Responsibilities:

Devises and implements marketing strategies and plans.

Coordinates student recruitment and retention activities.

Advises graduate students during program completion on matters related to scheduling, extracurricular matters, and graduation planning.

Recruits adjunct faculty and manages contracts
-
Schedules all COBACS graduate classes.

Represents and promotes the graduate program to various industries, employers and students.

Develops and maintains contact with area businesses and industries.

Recruits advisory boards, maintains contact and manages schedules for board events.

Collects data and devise reports.

Carries out all requirements and policies required of courses, programs, colleges and the university.

Supervises graduate assistants performing administrative duties in the department.

Participates in ongoing professional development and implements updated/current practices.

Performs all other duties as defined by supervisor.

Clinical Education Facilitator
The Department of Physical Therapy at Southwest
Baptist University is seeking one individual to join our dynamic
entry-level doctoral curriculum as a Clinical Education Facilitator.
This new staff position has been created to meet the growing demands of
our program starting in the academic year 2012-13. We have recently
moved into the Warren B. Davis Family Physical Therapy Center with
27,000 square feet of dedicated state of the art teaching and learning
facilities. We have been blessed with tremendous facilities and
superlative service minded students.
Responsibilities: The primary responsibility of the clinical education facilitator is to nurture the bond between the SBU Physical Therapy program and the external clinical education community to ensure a sufficient number of clinical placements are present annually both in quality and quantity. A secondary responsibility is to assist with the accreditation processes and presentation of relevant data.
Qualifications: The ideal candidates will possess an earned academic degree in a physical therapy related field and be self directed, organized and efficient in carrying out responsibilities and tasks. The candidate should possess good interpersonal skills to work well with people both individually and as a team. The candidate should be knowledgeable in use of Windows, computer applications, word processing, spreadsheets, and database. Previous experience and understanding of the clinical education process is highly desired. Previous experience in health care and education accreditation processes is highly desired. Management and/or marketing experience as well as publication computer skills are a plus. The candidate must be able to work in a typical office environment as well as travel in a car and/or plane when visiting clinical education sites.
