Lance Quessenberry "I graduated from SBU with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education in 1996 and a Master's in Education in 2002. I am currently the Evangel University head baseball coach and an assistant professor in the Physical Education Department.
The education department at SBU taught me that you have to work hard at whatever you do. My advice to students considering a Physical Education degree is to make sure you select a minor in an area that you would like to teach. I have a minor in social studies, and I taught more social studies classes than physical education. Also, you need to be prepared for each and every class. If you are not, the kids will know it and the classroom becomes a free for all. Have a plan for each and every day.
