Frank D. Cunningham, B.A., M.A., B.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Cunningham's training is in recent United States history. He
holds degrees from Baylor University, Waco, Texas, Southwestern
Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, Texas, and the
University of Texas, Austin, Texas. Dr. Cunningham retired from
full time teaching at the end of the 1995-1996 academic year having
originally joined the history faculty in the fall of 1961.

Harlie Kay Gallatin, A.A., A.B., B.D., M.A., Ph.D.

Dr. Gallatin's training is in ancient and medieval Near Eastern
and European history. He holds degrees from Hannibal-LaGrange College,
Hannibal, Missouri; William Jewell College,
Liberty, Missouri; Central Baptist Theological Seminary, Kansas
City, Kansas; Central Missouri State University, Warrensburg,
Missouri; and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign,
Urbana, Illinois. Dr. Gallatin
retired at the end of the 2000-2001 academic year having been
with the department since 1961 and chairman of the department
since 1970. Since retirement he has been serving as a webmaster for for both the Courts Redford College and the Lewis Schollian College.

Larry F. Whatley, B.A., M.A.
Mr. Whatley's training is in both United States history and
Political Science. He has degrees from Mississippi State University,
State College, Mississippi, and has done doctoral course work at
Pennsylvania State University, University Park, Pennsylvania, and
additional study at Missouri University in Columbia, Missouri. Mr. Whatley
first taught here in 1965-66 and then returned to the department in 1969 and served until his retirement at the end of the 2004-2005 academic year.
