Who is playing on your iPod?I don't own one. Really I don't plan to either.
What book are you currently reading? "Under God" by Tait and Mac is on my desk right now.
What is the best getaway location, local or abroad? I really don't have the slightest. Wheeler Angus Farm is my personal favorite and Columbia Missouri to see our grandkids is a great one also.

Current Research: Dr. Wheeler is currently developing and conducting a comparative study in course design / pedagogical methodology, specifically focusing on the Problem Based Learning model. He first implemented problem based learning in an Education block course, and now he is comparing the learning outcomes between two separate offerings of the nutrition course he teaches. The first offering (Spring of 2007) was designed according to a traditional pedagogical model (deductive model) and the second (Fall of 2007) designed around the PBL model. The PBL model is utilized by the University of Missouri School of Medicine. He is both pleased and proud to have Dr. Adam Wheeler MD and Dr. Andrew Wheeler MD working with him on this study. In addition a number of University of Missouri faculty and physicians have consulted on the PBL design of the course.
Why do you enjoy teaching at SBU? "Working with students and helping them find and know God's will for their lives."
Educational and Professional Background: Wheeler earned a Bachelor of Arts from Southwest Baptist University, a Master of Science from Pittsburg State University, an Educational Specialist from Missouri State University, and an Educational Doctorate from the University of Kansas.
