Math Tutor Room
Department of Mathematics
Students enrolled in Mathematics courses MAT 1195-Calculus I and below, or in MAT 2293-Survey of Math for Elementary and Middle School Teachers II, have a FREE mathematics tutoring room available for their use. This room is Taylor 218 (effective February 1, 2010) and is open the following hours (the tutor room will close on University holidays and any evening before University holidays. Hours in the Spring 2010 semester are:

It is staffed by helpful and qualified mathematics students just waiting to help you as you try to learn mathematics. Please take advantage of this service. It is intended to help make your experience in a mathematics class at SBU as positive as possible.
The tutor room is only one example of the many services that are available at SBU. The responsibility to take advantage of these services is yours. Jesus Christ also offers many services to you (salvation, peace, joy, eternal security), but you have the responsibility to accept Him as Lord and Savior to take advantage of these services too . If you have questions about how to accept Jesus as Savior, please ask one of your instructors at SBU, Dr. Hopkins in the math department, or a pastor at a local church.
