April 13-14, saw six Southwest Baptist University
students
and Dr. Bob Glasgow, associate professor of mathematics attend a
preservice
math teacher conference at Lake of the Ozarks.
Preservice math teachers from various colleges around the state
of Missouri
attended the conference.
Students attending are shown in the photo below.
The event started with a banquet, where our students had fun (and lots of sweetener, so it seems).
There were sessions where our students heard teachers give helpful information.
There were breaks between sessions for additional discussion.
