I stayed in Summit Hall and got to walk to Corbett Hall for meals and then to Lory Student Center for the actual grading.
All together there were over 700 math teachers (about half high school AP Calculus teachers and half college instructors) grading there. During the time in Colorado, I got to go on a trip to the Rocky Mountain National Park. Below are a few pictures from that trip (some I took myself, you can probably figure out which).

I contacted an
SBU graduate of 1991, Shawn McClure, who now lives in Ft. Collins. Shawn graciously agreed to take me on a hike. We hiked up Horsetooth Mountain, a major landmark in Ft. Collins. It is 7255 feet and we probably started at about 5800 feet. The hike was beautiful, with many views overlooking Ft. Collins.

It is nearly dark, so this picture of the waterfall we passed on our way back from the top almost didn't turn out.
I was so inspired by the experience in Colorado, I came back to SBU and decided to try out the rock climbing wall in the
Wellness Center .
