Josh Compton, SBU Communication Alumnus

I am currently the Chair and Assistant Professor of the Department of Communication Arts at Southwest Baptist University.

The rigorous curriculum of communication theory and practice in the SBU communication program is reflected in my teaching and administrative roles. The SBU Department of Communication trains its students to not only communicate well, but to think critically, question assumptions, and become empathic, compassionate speakers and listeners. No other academic program demonstrates the flexibility and personalization of a communication major.
