Educational background: Beasley earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry at Drury University in Springfield, Missouri in 1993; an ASN/RN in 2000 and a BSN in 2003 from Mercy College of Nursing and Health Sciences at SBU; and a MSN-Education at the University of Phoenix in 2010.
Why do you enjoy teaching? "When I initially became an RN, I enjoyed being a preceptor and orienting new nurses. Many of my coworkers said I would be a great nursing instructor. I enjoy teaching first-semester nursing students especially when they understand and can apply themselves"
Areas of Ministry: "I enjoy working and caring for geriatric patients and people in the community, I also participate in community health fairs and educational events, and provide support to epilepsy patients and those with neurological deficits."
