Educational background: Kostas-Polston earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Arizona State University in 1985. She later earned a Master of Science in Nursing (specialty obstetrics, oncology, primary care of woman) at the University of Florida in 1996. She is currently working on her PhD from the Loyola University-Chicago. Her anticipated date of completion is December 2006.
