Mission Statement:
The Geneva Casebolt College of Music, Arts and Letters creates a Christian atmosphere in which students learn to integrate communication skills, creativity, appreciation of the arts, and an understanding of cultural heritage.

A Message From the Dean:
I am pleased to have this opportunity to welcome you to SBU's Casebolt College of Music, Arts and Letters.  Whatever your interest, it is likely that we have programs to meet your needs.

Our committed faculty enjoy distinguished careers as scholars, artists, performers and teachers.  Their goal is to provide the specialized training that will help you to reach your personal and professional goals.  Our four departments - Art, Language and Literature, Music, and the Bob R. Derryberry School of Communication Arts - provide a variety of majors and concentrations to prepare you for a multitude of professions, such as teaching, performance, ministry, public relations, writing and commercial art.  Additionally, we offer opportunities for all university students to be involved in forensics, choirs, art classes, instrumental ensembles, language training, and theatre productions.
