The Business Administration Department is accredited by Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). Business Administration offers Bachelors of Science degrees with majors in:  Economics/Finance, International Business, Management, Marketing, and Public Relations as well as an Associate of Science degree in Business.

Student successes

MFT (Major Field Test) Scores

COBACS' students in their capstone class during their final semester take the Major Field Test, a national standardized test covering nine area in business: accounting, quantitative analysis, business lay, internationl business, economics, finance, marketing, management, and information systems. Over 200,000 students within 618 colleges/universities across the nation take this test.  Our students average in the 90th to 95th percentile nearly each semester. Fall 2009 scores – 90%; Spring 2010 scores – 95%; Fall 2010 scores – 95%.

International Experiences

The Business Department completed their seventh annual international trip during Spring Break 2010, where 16 students and faculty members traveled to Greece and Turkey.  Prior trips have included Italy, Spain, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Lichtenstein, France, Spain, and England.  During the Spring Break 2010, the department will be traveling with students to Costa Rica.  Also, each year two to four business students participate in studying abroad, spending one semester in different countries, such as England (London and Oxford), Scotland, Ireland, Hong Kong, and Australia.
