Why do you enjoy teaching at SBU? " I enjoy the sense of comradarie among the faculty within the Behavioral Sciences Department and across the colleges. I am also glad for the fact that at SBU I can have genuine relationships with students.
Faith Dedications: Chris and his wife attend First Baptist Church in Bolivar where they teach a Nearly and Newlywed Sunday School Class.
Educational and Professional Background: Chris received a Master's Degrees in Marriage and Family Counseling and in Christian Education and a PhD in Psychology from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (SWBTS). While at SWBTS, he was appointed a Teaching Fellow and taught in the Marriage and Family Counseling degree program. Previously, Chris counseled couples, families, and individuals at Southcliff Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas.
