SBU TAKES 7-2 WIN OVER FT. HAYS STATE

Valerie Jones won the #3 singles match.

TOPEKA, KS. ... Securing their first winning season in 10 years, the Southwest Baptist University Lady Bearcats took a 7-2 win over Ft. Hays State. Competing on a neutral court in Topeka, SBU started with a 3-0 advantage after doubles.

SBU only lost two matches in the #2 and #4 singles matches. SBU will now prepare for the MIAA Tournament where they will take on Northwest Missouri State in Topeka, Kansas, this weekend.
