LADY CATS FALL IN FIRST HOME MATCH OF THE 2005 SEASON

Valerie Jones won the #3 singles match.

BOLIVAR, MO. ... In their first home meet of the 2005 season, Southwest Baptist fell to Emporia State University, 7-2. SBU won the #1 doubles and then teh #3 singles.

SBU headed into singles play down 2-1 after the Lady Bearcats almost took the #2 doubles match. Valerie Jones and Lauren Hodson fell to Bayon/Schultz, 9-7, in a close match.
