Principia, IL. ... In round robin play, the Southwest Baptist University Lady Bearcats started the 2004 spring season off with individual wins at the Principia College Invitational.
In singles action, Valerie Jones and Lynne Klaasn were 2-1. Melanie Cook , Lindsay Hickel, and Sarah Smith were 1-2. Charlotte Heidelberg was 0-3.
On the doubles side of play, Jones/Heidelberg were 1-2 in three matches played. Hickel/Klaasen and Cook/Smith each were 0-2. Cook/Klaasen then teamed up for a win as did Hickel/Smith.
