Kelly Isaac
Isaac comes to us from Rhondda Cynon Taff in South Wales and is the daughter of Jeffrey and Norma Isaac. Kelly has represented the South Wales centre of excellence, an elite soccer organization, at the under 12 and under 14 level. She has also represented her country at the under 19 level and recently received a call up to the Wales National Team. She currently plays for the premiere team of Cardiff City, with whom she has won the Women's Welsh Cup three consecutive times and travelled twice to Croatia to play in the UEFA Cup Qualifiers
Coach Wade's thoughts on Kelly: “One thing we were missing last year was strength and quickness in the midfield: a player that could take people on and score to relieve pressure from our forwards. Kelly is that player, a center mid with pace, passion and aggression. She is going to fill that gap perfectly, and I see her making a major impact this fall.” |

Rhiane Mitchell
Rhiane Mitchell is coming to us from England. Mitchell has played since the age of seven when she was captain of her primary school team. In high school, along with being captain of the soccer team, she also played basketball and was a member of the Track and Field team where she competed in the 200m and the high jump. Over the years she has played for three different club teams, starting with Tameside girls, then moving to Stockport County and finally Curzon Ashton where she has played the last 3 years. In her first year with Ashton Curzon she was young player of the year and joint top scorer.
When asked about Rhiane Coach Wade stated: “Rhiane comes to us as a truly tested striker. She is like all of our forwards combined from last year, times two. She has speed and power, and will come on next year and win games for us like Dominie did last year: in fact I believe that she may well be one of the biggest impact players to ever wear an SBU uniform!” |

Jennifer Tenholder
She played for Classic United Soccer Club in Cape Girardeau for 2 years before playing for her current soccer club, Southeast Missouri Soccer Club, which she has played for the past 7 years. She was also a member of the 1989's Missouri ODP Team in 2004. She has also played with Metro 74 Soccer Club in St. Louis, MO. Jenni is currently a senior at Jackson High School, where she has played on the Varsity team since she was a freshman. She was selected to the All-Conference and All-Regional teams for the past 2 years, as well as being 2nd Team All-State last year in 2007. She was also voted Most Valuable Midfielder in 2007. She will serve as a team captain this year and will hopefully help lead her team to their 4th District Championship since she began playing her freshman year.
Coach Wade says, “"Jennifer is strong, quick, incredibly skillful, and an excellent distributor. Her size and agressiveness will be a great asset to our midfield. She will be the perfect fit for our coaching style, philosophy, and program.” |

Mary Pearl
Mary Pearl plays for the Lonestar Soccer Club, in the Texas Premier League. She has been her team's lone goalkeeper, helping them compete in this top league in the states of Texas and Oklahoma. Mary was part of the South Texas ODP pool in 2006. She has been the starting goalkeeper for the varsity team at McNeil High School for three years, and was named team MVP as a sophomore. McNeil was district champion in 2006, and a state regional semi-finalist in 2007. She is co-captain for the team this year.
Coach Wade says, “"Graduating Aline Lopes this year, one of the best goal keepers in the nation, we were very fortunate to find Mary Pearl. We do not have time for a transition year, and all of our keepers will need to step into this new role from the beggining."

Alexandria Schreiber
Alexandria Schreiber is a 4-year letterwinner at Derby High School in Kansas. She has played soccer since she was five or six years old. She started in AYSO and then went to a more competitive league. Once she entered the club or premier leagues, she has played on several teams. Her favorite team was the Wichita Strikers (coach Jason Algya). In middle school she ran track and came within hundredths of a second to breaking school records in the 200m sprint. Ali is a strong softball player (shortstop) as well. Ali's awards include: 2007: All Metro Team, Honorable Mention 2nd Team AVCTL (Ark Valley/Chisholm Trail League), Regional Runners Up 2006: Honorable Mention All League * 2006 & 2007: Best Defensive Player Award * 2005: AVCTL Champs, Regional Runners Up * Distinguished Scholastic Achievement Award * All Academic Team Coach Wade says, "With SBU's already incredible defense, Ali is going to push our existing starters, and give us the flexibility to replace our Senior Darla Zarndt. Jamilla Henry
Jamilla Henry has been on the St. Lucia National Team since 2001, where she plays forward and attacking midfield. Henry is Captain of the team. She played one year at Lassen College, where she was the second leading scorer in the nation, and played with the likes of Sophie LeChat (Aude' sister) and Coach Amber Gwinn. After playing that year, she decided to go back and focus on the national team. This paid off in 2005 when she was nominated and won the CONCACAF international player of the year. Jamilla is one of the most exciting players in the Caribbean football, being both dynamic, a terrific goal scorer, and hard worker.
Coach Wade says: " She will be one of the most dynamic players in the conference, and we are looking forward to her picking up where Dominie Emmanuel left off. One of the best players in Caribeean football at the moment, she will bring incredible place to our attacking formation." |
