Coach Middleton Says
She is the tallest female player in the conference at 6’7 and that has ever been at SBU. Sara is one of those that is going to have a great opportunity to learn from the best in Mercer, Smith, Hancock, and Jones. She is going to learn a lot from them and bring a lot to us. She is going to be difficult for opponents to defend. I think the other thing is that she is a very good rebounder. She has a nose for the ball also and that is one of the reasons we brought her in. We felt she has the ability to help our rebounding a whole lot. Last, but not least, is her ability to block shots. I believe she has the ability to block a lot of shots and will cause some shots to be missed just because of her size.
