SBU's Athletic Training Education Program
The athletic training Services at Southwest Baptist University provides superior quality health care to all student-athletes. Through the cooperative efforts of Southwest Baptist University and Citizens Memorial Healthcare, student-athletes have a wide-range of medical health care professionals to evaluate, treat and rehabilitate their sports-related injuries. Athletic Training Services provide health care to over 230 student-athletes in 16 different sports. Southwest Baptist University has two athletic training room facilities dedicated to assist the needs of the student-athlete. The main athletic training room is located in Jane and Ken Meyer Wellness and Sports Center while the other facility is located in the the Plaster Athletic Center. The Citizens Memorial Healthcare Sports Medicine Center provides physical rehabilitation services as well as orthopedic physician services on site in the Jane and Ken Meyer Wellness and Sports Center.
