Reason you chose SBU : "I love the Christian atmosphere at SBU.  I also knew that balancing my studies with athletics would not be a problem. The family-like campus really drew me in. It just feels like home!"

Coach McElhaney , "I think Katie will fit in great here at SBU. She is very talented and I do not think she has come close to her full potential yet in track. She wants to be apart of a close team, which is something very easy to find here at SBU. She will help us a lot in the areas we lack in during track season primarily in the jumps and relays."
