SBU COMPETES AT WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY-ST. LOUIS

ST. LOUIS, MO. ... Two Southwest Baptist University runners claimed top 10 finishes at the Washington University-St. Louis Invitional on Saturday, April 3. Both Amy Broadhurst and Jackie Hodson took a spot in the top 10.
Hodson finished in fourth place in the 10,000 meter run with a time of 38:46.03. Broadhurst then took sixth in the 800 meter run (2:23.69). Jenny Trevathon won her heat in the 400 meter hurdles and finished 14th overall (1:15.98). In the 5,000 meter run, Christine Showler came in 14th place (19:29.80) while Erika Anderson (24:33.36) was in 35th place. Sara Tedford came across in 24th place in the 800 meter run (2:33.18).
On the men's side, SBU ran in the 5,000 meter run. Tom Miner had the highest finish at 36th with a time of 16:26.89. Michael Haub was 49th (17:06.35) and John Harris was 53rd (17:36.11). |
