PERSONAL RECORDS ARE MADE AT MSSU; SANDERSON COMPETES AT ARKANSAS

JOPLIN, MO. ... Three personal records were broken in the meet at Missouri Southern State University on Saturday, February 14th. Amy Broadhurst, Christine Showler, and Austin Bunn each had a personal best.
On Friday, T.Jay Sanderson ran at the Razorback Invitational in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He finished eighth overall and won his heat in the one-mile run. He posted a time of 4:14.49, which is the fastest in the MIAA this year.
At MSSU, Broadhurst came in fifth in the one-mile run with a personal record of 5:24.82. Showler then ran her personal best of 10:57.53 in the 3000 meter run. Sara Tedford then finished 16th in the 800 meter run (2:36.12).
On the men's side, Bunn had a personal best in the 3000 meter run with a time of 9:13.51 (11th). Also running in the 3000 meter run was Clint Davis (12th - 9:14.05), Tom Miner (21st - 9:37.75), and Michael Haub (25th - 9:35.45). Sanderson finished 10th in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:02.24.
Both teams will run in Warrensburg on Friday, February 20th, at the CMSU Classic. |
