Kyleigh Savas, a pitcher, has also played all-four seasons on varsity at Marshfield. She was first team all-conference all four seasons. She was second team all-district as a freshman and first team the other three seasons. She was first team all state her sophomore season and second team all-state as a junior. She was the team MVP her junior and senior seasons. She has also been named to the all-Ozarks team and was named Defensive Player of the Year as a sophomore. Savas is 10th in career at bats in Missouri with 291 and third in career walks with 50. She pitched 20 of 26 games last fall and was part of a pitching squad that set a new state record for the lowest team earned run average for a single season. The Lady Jays pitching staff allowed only five earned runs in 170 and two thirds innings of play for a 0.21 ERA.

Five times during her career, Savas threw for more than 28 consecutive innings of softball without allowing an earned run. She pitched in 80 games in her career and has 64 career victories, sixth on the all-time list. She won 21 games a
junior and has 25 career shoutouts. She has 500 and one third innings of pitching in her career and is ninth all-time. She has also record 511 strikeouts.

She helped lead her teams to an impressive 84 wins in the last four year and helped lead the team to the Missouri State Class 3A Championship in 1999. Dunn, along with teammate Kyleigh Savas, hold a combined 27 school records.

Savas is a 2002 graduate of Marshfield High School and is the daughter of William and Justina Savas. She was born on Sept. 22, 1983.
