Stephanie
Mark saw action in 26 games and batted a .143 batting average
in 2002. She had two hits in 14 at bats with one RBI. She
scored the winning run against NAIA powerhouse Oklahoma City
in 2002 on a single by Teri McKay. Mark was used many times
for a pinch runner because of her speed. She scored 10 runs
and stole five-of-seven bases attempted.
A four year varsity player in high school, Mark has played
softball since age 10. She won the team offensive MVP award
her junior season and received the Optimist Athletics award
all four years of high school. She was also a track team member
her sophomore year.
Mark is a 2001 graduate of El Dorado Springs High School and
is the daughter of Tim and Jeanne Mark. She was born on July
5, 1983.

Favorite place to play on the road: Hopefully Florida this
year, but Oklahoma City was awesome last year.
Best memory while playing at SBU: Getting to pinch-run for
Jackie and then scoring the winning run against Oklahoma City
on a hit by Teri.
Favorite thing to do on Saturday: If it isnt playing
softball, then it would be hanging out with my friends.
