Dabecka
Kirk is in her first season as the student assistant coach
for the Bearcats.
Kirk played for two seasons as a Bearcat before suffering
a career-ending injury last year. She is a junior health and
physical education major who looks forward to teaching and
coaching her own team in the future.
At SBU, Kirk has also been involved with SBU Missions and
took a trip to South Africa in the summer of 2001. Her passion
is to return to South Africa as a missionary to teach the
love of God through sports.
In high school, Kirk was a four-year varsity letterman and
a four-time Academic All-Conference selection. Kirk is a 2000
graduate of Odessa High School in Odessa.
