Senior
Jill Gregory enters her fourth season at third base for the
Bearcats.
“I think we have as much, if not more, talent this year,”
Gregory said. “The key is just going to be putting all
the individual talent together as a team. If that happens,
we will have a successful season.”
She finished last season being named honorable mention all-conference.
Gregory had a .235 batting average as a junior, hitting 28
balls in 119 at bats. She had 12 runs and two doubles. She
had a .308 on-base percentage and a .968 fielding percentage
last season.
As a sophomore, she posted a team-high .344 batting average
with 54 hits, 20 runs, 18 RBI and 14 doubles. She also had
a .943 fielding percentage. She was named First Team All-MIAA
as a designated player her sophomore season and was a first
team All-MIAA selection at third base in 2001 as a freshman.
Gregory is the daughter of Paul and Gaylene Gregory of Ozark.
She is a 1999 graduate of Ozark High School. Born 25 November
1980.
