Luciana
Crips beings her first season as the graduate assistant for
the Bearcat Softball program. After being a missionary for
two years in Sarajevo, Bosnia, Crisp decided to pursue a masters
degree in education at SBU.
This isnt the first time she has been a part of the
softball program. Crisp was a player from 1995-98. As a three-year
starter, she received Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics
Association Academic All-Conference honors. She still holds
the school records for doubles in a career and season.
On the completion of her career, Crisp received the Rex Brown
Award of Excellence.
She graduated in 1998 with a bachelors in sports management.
Crisp is a 1994 graduate of Stockton High School in Stockton
where she was a three-sport varsity athlete and the salutatorian
of the graduating class. She received all-conference, district,
regional and state honors in athletics.
