Volunteer Assistant - Jeremy Horton

Jeremy Horton will enter his first season as an assistant to Coach Capner.

Horton is a 2000 graduate of Hartville
High School in Missouri. He lettered all four
years in baseball. He then received an all-conference as well as an all-state
first team his senior year. He then ventured to Three Rivers Community
College in Poplar Bluff, where he lettered two years for the Red Raiders.

In the summer of 2002, Horton played for the Springfield Slashers which competed
in the National Baseball Congress World Series in Wichita, Kansas. He then
continued his career at SBU playing for Coach Sam Berg and receiving a degree in
sports management. After a couple years away, Horton returns as an assistant to
Coach Capner while working on his masters to receive an MHA.
