OVERLAND
PARK, Kan. – Southwest Baptist’s women’s basketball
team had three players named to the Mid-America Intercollegiate
Athletics Association Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll
for 2002-03.
Representing SBU are sophomores Jennifer Clymore, Jenny Miller
and Gwyn Smith.
Clymore, a 6-0 forward, is a biology major from Oak Grove.
Miller, a 5-5 guard, is a physical education major from Springfield.
Smith, a 6-0 forward, is an elementary education major from
Freeburg, Ill.
Student-athletes are named to the list under the following
criteria: 1.) The student-athlete must have a cumulative grade-point
average of 3.00 or better at the qualifying institution; 2.)
The student-athlete must have at least two terms of attendance
at the member school, excluding summer sessions; 3.) The student-athlete
must be a sophomore, junior or senior in athletic eligibility;
4.) Student-athletes inactive due to redshirt or hardship
qualification are not eligible.
